PURPOSE:To reduce labor for manufacture, installing operation, and registering operation of a printing plate by a method wherein the plate is formed directly from an image data on a printing machine. CONSTITUTION:All surfaces of a magnetic drum 1 are demagnetized 7. Then, a part corresponding to a painting area is magnetized 2 from a digital image data, and a part equivalent to the printing area of the magnetic drum 1 is magnetized. Then, lipophilic magnetic fine powder 3 is supplied to the magnetized part to be fixed. Further, a surface of the magnetic drum is processed by a hydrophilic process in that case. When printing operation starts in this state, dampening water 4 is stuck to a part free of magnetic powder. Then, ink 5 is stuck to a magnetic powder sticking part, which is transferred to paper 10 via a blanket cylinder 8 to be printed. After printing is completed the magnetic drum 1 is cleaned with a cleaning device 6, and all surfaces of the magnetic drum are demagnetized with a demagnetizing head 7. |
