Each one of the stack units consists of two structures, one fixed and one movable. The fixed structure is for receiving, in each one of its places, located above or below the pavement, a platform with a vehicle. The movable structure is displaced horizontally by the action of two or four hydraulic or pneumatic jacks (rams) for positioning or removing a platform with or without a vehicle, and the forks of the movable structure are displaced in the vertical plane by the action of two jacks of the same type as the former ones, in order to convey, to the level of the place to be occupied or to pavement level, a platform with a vehicle or only a platform for receiving a vehicle. Control of the various required stages for parking the vehicles is provided by an electronic unit associated with peripheral elements which store various data needed for the use of the silos and they allow the use, on the part of the user, of a perforated (punch) or magnetic card, which functions as a personal and non-transferable sign for removing the vehicle. <IMAGE>
