摘要 PURPOSE:To allow heating of the surfaces of the clad materials without melting the surface and damaging there of by using energy beams as a heat source and selecting specific irradiation conditions. CONSTITUTION:The energy beams emitted from two energy sources 1, 3 are scanned at a high speed in two orthogonal directions to apply a spacially uni form heat flow flux (q) to the surface of the clad materials 5, 6. The irradiation conditions of the energy beams 1, 3 for the clad materials 5, 6 are so set as to satisfy equations 1, 2, 3. In equations, the heat flow flux (q) is q/cm<2>; the heating time (t) is sec; the m.p. TM of the clad materials heated by the beams is deg.C; the initial temp. of the clad materials heated by the beams is deg.C; the thermal conductivity (h) is J/cm.s. deg.C; the thermal diffusivity (a) is cm<2>/s; the specific heat C is J/g. deg.C; the density rho is g/cm<3>; the sheet thickness (t) is cm; the scanning width Wy of the beams in the direction parallel with the feed direction of the clad materials is cm; the scanning width Wx of the beams in the direction parallel with the feed direction of the clad materials is cm; the feed speed V of the beams is cm/min.
