PURPOSE:To suppress the consumption of energy to min. limit, by enabling the efficient deodorizing treatment of an exhaust gas. CONSTITUTION:This deodorizing apparatus is constituted by perceiving such a fact that reaction heat in a catalyst 32 is proportioned to the conc. of an ink solvent component in an exhaust gas and an exhaust amount and a heating amount are determined based on the measured value of said reaction heat. Therefore, thermometers 37, 38 are respectively provided at the front and the rear positions fo the catalyst 32 to measure temps. T1, T2 prior to and posterior to catalytic reaction and T2-T1 is set as the substitute characteristic value of the concn. of the ink solvent component. T1 and T2 are put in a speed control part 39, a temp. controller 40 and a damper control part 41 and the control part 36 increases an exhaust amount due to a fan 34 when T2-T1 reaches a set value or more while the concn. of the ink solvent component is diluted to reduce the reaction heat of the catalyst 32 and reduce the exhaust amount in the reverse case. The opening degree of a burner 36 is adjusted based on T1 to hold T1 to min. temp. 350 deg.C for reacting the ink solvent component with the platinum catalyst. |
