1. Rectangular parallelepipedal block (3, 3') for accommodating passengers and their luggage in transit locations and air, sea, road and rail vehicles, having two opposite vertical faces, for joining if necessary with other identical blocks in straight succession (2, 2'), while the two other lateral vertical faces each border a stack of reclining seats (8, 10, 12, 14) and (9, 11, 13, 15), with the same vertical span p, all being either of constant width (d, Figs. 4, 5) or trapezoidal (a, b, Figs. 7, 8), superimposed head to foot, characterized in that the two said stacks are separated from each other, so as to create an intermediate space, divided into superimposed luggage storage compartments. |
