PURPOSE:To obtain the color picture of the subject material which has excellent coloring property, especially, excellent durability against heat, and high picture quality by incorporating at least one kind of a specified cyan dye forming coupler in the photosensitive material. CONSTITUTION:The photosensitive material contains at least one kind of the cyan dye forming coupler shown by formula I. In formula I, R1 and R2 are each independently an aliphatic, an aromatic or a heterocyclic ring group, Z is hydrogen atom or a group capable of being released by a coupling reaction with the oxidant of an aromatic primary amine developing agent, (m) and (n) are each independently an integer of 0 or 1, when (m) and (n) are both 0, R1 and R2 are not an aromatic group at the same time, when the both R1 and R2 are an aliphatic group, the carbon number of the groups R1 and R2 is >=4 respectively. Thus, as the obtd. cyan coupler shows the high sensitivity and max. optical density, but does not increase the min. optical density, the picture having the high quality is easily formed. |
