PURPOSE: To reduce the peak amplitude by making a signal point conformation includes 2<2n+p> signal points (n is >=4 integer, and p is zero or 1) and making each prescribed point have carrier signal component I and Q amplitude where one is 2<n> and the other is 2<n-p> . CONSTITUTION: Twenty-two points within an area 214 are entirely rearranged at corresponding positions within an area 214' as they are shown by a semicircular line 220 by the rotation of an angle of 180 deg. around the point 218 that has I and Q coordinates (16, 16). The rearrangement reduces the distance of each point from the origin 212, and Hamming distance of 1 to these rearranged points is stored. Furthermore, eight points within an area 216 are entirely rearranged at corresponding positions within an area 216' by transformation in the direction shown by a line 222. The area 216 is effectively transformed to the area 216' through the point 218. Thereby, peak amplitude becomes small. |
