A caravan corner steady operating bolt with hexagon head (Fig. 2) is modified during manufacture to accept a proprietary brand of wheel nut locking device (Fig. 6). The length of the hexagon head is extended to 40 mm. The outer end is centrally bored to a depth of 20 mm x 14 mm, and grooves are machined around its circumference into which the tumblers of the internal lock locate. A plated cylinder of the device slips over the hexagon and can rotate freely about it but is held in position by the internal end lock, to prevent access to the hexagon head. <IMAGE> |
