PURPOSE:To improve the productivity in producing a shaft by winding a tape round a madrel by providing a tape winding apparatus which is adapted to draw out a tape on a reel to be guided to a tape winding point of the mandrel, and wind the tape round the mandrel at a predetermined angle. CONSTITUTION:A tape winding apparatus comprises a mandrel moving mechanismI, a tape storing mechanism II and a tape winding mechanism III. The mandrel moving mechanismI1 is adapted to transfer a mandrel 6 to the right while being grasped with four rollers R1-R4 disposed on both ends of the upper portion of a T-shaped frame 1. The tape storing mechanism II1, includes a reel 5 rotatably supported on the outer periphery of a hollow shaft of a rotating member RM in the tape winding mechanism III1, which is coupled to the rotating member RM through a sliding clutch SC for tension. In the tape winding mechanism III1, the rotating member RM is rotated through a train of gears by a motor M, so as to draw out a tape 7 through a guide bar GB. |
