<p>The present invention relates to a process for the manufacture of articles made of titanium oxide. …<??>This process consists essentially in manufacturing a titanium oxide capable of being shaped, especially by extrusion, by hydrolysing a titanium compound. According to the invention this hydrolysis is conducted in the presence of at least one compound chosen from the group comprising carboxylic acids containing a hydroxyl and/or amine group, and organic phosphoric acids.
