摘要 PURPOSE:To enhance a heat resistance and to contrive the improvement of an adhesion between a substrate and a dye accepting layer and a releasability in transfer by providing an intermediate layer mainly composed of a vinyl chloride resin containing OH groups and an isocyanate compound between the substrate and the dye accepting layer mainly composed of a vinyl chloride and a releaser. CONSTITUTION:An image receiving medium consisting of an image receiving substrate A, a dye accepting layer B, and an intermediate layer C is so constructed that the intermediate layer C mainly composed of a vinyl chloride resin containing OH groups and an isocyanate compound and the dye accepting layer B mainly composed of a vinyl chloride and a releaser are laminated on the image receiving substrate A in this order. A sublimating transfer recording medium consists of a heat-resistant layer 2, a transfer substrate 3, and a dye transfer layer 4. A thermally sublimating dye is sublimated and diffused from the dye transfer layer 4 of the sublimating transfer recording medium by the heating from a thermal head 1, and the sublimated dye is transferred to the dye accepting layer B of the image receiving medium. The sublimated dye transferred to the image receiving medium is diffused in a dyeing resin forming the dye accepting layer B to be dyed.
