PURPOSE:To improve the lubricating property immediately after a start by providing an oil sump section at the middle section between horizontal holes provided on a shaft and the lower end of the shaft in a compressor feeding the refrigerator oil to sliding sections from a vertical hole through the horizontal holes by the rotation of the shaft extended in the vertical direction. CONSTITUTION:A shaft 5 transmitting the power of a motor-driven element 2 provided at the upper section to a compressing element 3 sucks the refrigerator oil 4 in a vertical hole 10 by its rotation and feeds it to sliding faces of upper and lower bearings 8 and 9 through horizontal holes 11-13. In this case, a horizontal hole 15 is formed at the position corresponding to the upper end of the upper bearing 8 of the shaft 5. An oil feeder 16 is formed at the portion of the vertical hole 10 between the horizontal hole 15 and the lower end section of the shaft 5. This oil feeder 16 has a pipe with a through hole at the center, an oil reservoir section 17 is formed on its upper face. The excess oil sucked by the rotation of the shaft 5 is stored in this reservoir section 17, the stored oil is lifted by the centrifugal force at the time of the next start and fed to the upper bearing 8 through the horizontal hole 15. |
