PRODUCTION OF FOAMED ARTICLE CONTAINING CRYSTALLINE PROPYLENE RESIN

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain a foamed article having uniform and fine foam structure, high expansion ratio and excellent heat-resistance by performing the melt- extrusion and foaming of a crystalline propylene resin and an SEBS copolymer in the presence of a volatile organic foaming agent. CONSTITUTION:A mixture composed of 20-80wt.% of a crystalline propylene resin having a melt index of <=10 (measured at 230 deg.C) and 80-20wt.% of a styrene-ethylene.butylene-styrene block copolymer having a melt index of <=10 (measured at 230 deg.C) is foamed by melting and extruding in the presence of a volatile organic foaming agent. At least one of the above two components is the one grafted with a vinyltrialkoxysilane.
