The invention relates to a crank for a jack, particularly for a jack with crossed levers comprising a coupling element which drives the screw and has an opening into which the crank, which is connected in a manner such that it cannot be lost and is articulated with the coupling element and which is bent several times in two planes, is mounted in such a way that it can pivot and move in oscillation in the longitudinal direction of the jack. According to the invention, the end of the crank 4 passing through the opening 3 is provided, on either side of the coupling element 2 of thickness d, with disk-shaped transmission elements 5 which cannot be lost.
