PURPOSE:To certainly and rapidly perform treatment generating no attenuation of an ultrasonic wave even when a vibration transmitting member is moved at the time of treatment by providing a vibration mechanism capable of allowing the seal part for sealing the moving transmission member to advance and recede so that said seal part is always present at the node of vibration. CONSTITUTION:A finger hooking operating part 8 for performing the advancing and receding operation of a vibration transmitting member 3 is provided to the rear end of a sheath 2 to be mounted to a sheath fixing jig 18 and a slide member 20 is provided in the bores of both of the finger hooking operation part 8 and the sheath fixing jig 18 over both of them. The slide member 20 is allowed to freely advance and recede, and mounted to the sheath fixing jig 18 in a watertight manner and, further, a 'Teflon(R)' material strong against heat generated by vibration is inserted in and fixed to the seal part 19 of the finger hooking operation part 8 and the vibration transmitting member 3. In the ultrasonic treatment apparatus 1 thus constituted, since the seal part 19 of the vibration transmitting member 3 always becomes the node of vibration not only at the start time of operation but also at the time of sliding and advancing operation, the attenuation of vibration at the seal part 19 is eliminated. Therefore, treatment such as the incision and emulsification of tissue can be performed efficiency, certainly and rapidly. |
