PURPOSE:To correct the time without necessitating a troublesome operation by an operator by detecting a difference between an output of a timepiece circuit and a standard time which is transmitted through a communication line and correcting the time of the timepiece circuit. CONSTITUTION:A standard time which is outputted from a standard timepiece 11 provided on a maintenance center system 1 which is connected to an information processing system 2 provided with a timepiece circuit 21 by a communication line 3 is sent out onto the communication line 3 by a standard time sending- out means 12. In a time comparing means 23 provided on the information processing system 2, a difference between said standard time and an output of the timepiece circuit 21 provided on the information processing system 2 is detected. Subsequently, by a time correcting circuit 22, time of the timepiece circuit 21 is corrected in accordance with an output of the time comparing means 23. In such a way, time of the timepiece circuit in the information processing system can be corrected without necessitating a troublesome operation by an operator. |
