Azetidine derivatives of the formula I <IMAGE> in which R<1> and R<2> are hydrogen or C1-C3-alkyl, X is oxygen or sulphur and R<3> is C1-C20-alkyl, C1-C20-haloalkyl, C3-C18-alkenyl, C 3- or C4-alkynyl, optionally bridged C3-C12-cycloalkyl or C4-C12-alkylcycloalkyl, it being possible for the cycloalkyl radicals or alkylcycloalkyl radicals to be substituted by C1-C5-alkyl or cyclohexyl, processes for their preparation, and their use as bioregulators.
