<p>PURPOSE:To rigidly engage the locking claw of an elastic lever with the locking hole of an adaptor by providing the title locking structure with a control to be forward/backward slided along the rear part of an optical connector body and an L-shaped member turnably supported by the control so as to press the inside of the elastic lever. CONSTITUTION:The control 19 is arranged so as to be optionally slided forward/ backward along a groove 11a formed on the rear part of the optical connector body 11 and the L-shaped member 21 is pivoted turnably around a pin 20. When the control 19 is moved forward, the locking claw 16 on the tip part of the lever 15 is deformed in the inside direction of the adaptor 17 while being pressed from the square aperture part of the adaptor 17 to the inside. The control 19 is pressed forward and a position on which the rear end part of the L-shaped member 21 finally comes into contact with the adaptor 17 is allowed to coincide with the initial engaging position between the locking claw 16 and the locking hole 18 to fix the lever 15 following the rotation of the member 21. Consequently, the locking claw 16 of the lever 15 can be rigidly engaged and fixed with/on the locking hole 18 of the adaptor 17.</p> |
