PURPOSE:To prevent wasteful power consumption by providing a means which automatically disconnects power supply after a prescribed length of time has passed since external storage devices such as an IC card were removed. CONSTITUTION:When the IC card 17 is loaded onto a connector 27, a timer is set at zero to reset a timer flag, and a power source relay 31 is turned on. As long as the IC card 17 is loaded, this state continues. However, after the IC card 17 is removed, the timer is set at arbitrary time, and is decremented by sec. When the arbitrary time comes to reach zero, the timer flag is set. Namely, after arbitrary time has passed since the IC card 17 was removed from the connector 27, the power source relay 31 is turned off, which turns off power source relay switches 41 and 42. Therefore, power supply to main parts is automatically disconnected. That result is preferable in control and usage. |
