PURPOSE:To make it possible to maintain the sufficiently carrying property of the title material by mounting a backing layer contg. a specified dyestuff on the opposite side of a photosensitive layer against a supporting body. CONSTITUTION:The backing layer contains a mat agent contg. >=30vol.% of a particle having a particle size of >=5mum, and the dyestuff in an amount capable of giving an optical density of at least 0.6 at the region of a wavelength of 700-840nm, and the backing layer is mounted on the opposite side of the photosensitive layer against the supporting body. The mat agent is composed of the discontinuous solid particle of an inorg. or an org. material which is capable of dispersing in a hydrophilic org. colloidal binder, and may be dissolved or not by subjecting the photosensitive material to a development processing. Thus, the title photographic sensitive material which is improved the carrying property and capable of sensitizing by infrared rays, is obtd. |
