Method and arrangement for allocating an identifier for traffic monitoring and control to digital signals DS140, DS34 and DS2
摘要
The traffic in a transmission network with switching devices for digital signals DS140, DS34 and DS2 can be monitored and controlled with the aid of individual identifiers which are transmitted in a signalling bit of the respective digital signal. An identifier is sought which can be quickly and reliably synchronised and can be easily processed in a computer. The identifier comprises a number of octets (O1-O4) for an identifier text and one octet (O5) for an identifier header. A filler bit (F) or a filler bit string is placed between the octets. The bits in the identifier header and the filler bits (F) are assigned the logical value one (shaded). The identifier text can be selected as required. This identifier (a) is in particular CMI-coded (b). A code rule violation occurs in each filler bit (F) or each filler bit string. With the aid of this, the octet clock can be synchronised in one step and the identifier can be synchronised in a further step with the identifier header. The octets can easily be evaluated in a computer. The invention is advantageous for monitored and controlled transmission networks with switching devices for digital signals DS140, DS34 and DS2. <IMAGE>
