<p>PURPOSE:To realize the front-back adjustment of a pedal by moving front and back the position of a pedal pad in accordance with the height of an operator to secure a proper position, then moving a pedal arm in parallel with the pad to keep this pad at the fixed height. CONSTITUTION:The position of a pedal pad 22 is controlled when a pedal arm 18 is moved toward an operator. When a screw nut 19 is moved via a motor, a pin 17 moves along an arc-shaped hole 6b and at the same time a pin 8 is pushed downward along an arc-shaped hole 7 of a lever 3. While a link 9 turns clockwise around an axis 12 of a sublever 11. The pin 8 moves along the hole 7, and the distance DS between an axis 2 and the pin 8 varies in proportion to the distance DL between the axis 2 and the pad 22. A tension spring 15 functions to keep the lever 3 at a fixed position. The pad 22 is treadled after its position is adjusted. Thus both the arm 18 and the lever 3 turn clockwise around the axis 2 to move a control lever 13 to the left.</p> |
