<p>PURPOSE:To reduce a load at the time of starting the driving of a tape and to attain low power consumption when a mode is changed from a stopping state to a recording and reproducing mode by providing a torque transmission means to transmit torque from a motor for driving a magnetic tape draw-out mechanism at a capstan. CONSTITUTION:In the stopping state before a magnetic cassette is loaded on a base 5, an idler 52 is coupled with a groove 51a, and the idler 52 is not brought into contact with the capstan 38. Simultaneously when the motor 19 is rotated in a direction of (a) and the movement of magnetic tape draw-out bodies 8 and 9 to a second position shown in dotted line is started, the rotation of the motor 19 is transmitted to the capstan 38 via a belt 49, a roller 50, a cam roller 51, and the idler 52, which starts up the capstan 38. After the magnetic tape draw-out bodies 8 and 9 are set at the second position, the idler 52 is fitted in a groove 51b by the rotation of the motor 19, and the transmission of the torque to the capstan 38 via the idler 52 is released, then, a recording and reproducing state is generated at this time.</p> |
