<p>PURPOSE:To obtain an ink which shows excellent stability when continuously used in a recording system in which an image is formed by controlling the adhesiveness of the ink according to the pattern by applying an electric current thereto, by mixing a specified liquid dispersing medium with a crosslinked substance for supporting it. CONSTITUTION:The title image recording ink containing a liquid dispersing medium and a crosslinked substance for supporting it and having controllable adhesiveness is characterized in that said medium is one containing at least a glycol solvent and contains an electrolyte soluble in this glycol solvent. As the electrolyte, one which does not form any halogen atoms when ionized is good, and LiBF4 is particularly desirable in that it is highly soluble in a glycol solvent and can give a high electric conductivity. As the liquid dispersing medium, a mixture of a glycol solvent with water is desirable. As the crosslinked substance, a hydrophilic or natural or synthetic polymer is particularly desirable.</p> |
