PURPOSE:To prevent vibration and abrasion due to contact with rolls or a collar ring by roughening the surface of a cylindrical substrate except both side ends in areas smaller than nonimage areas and forming a photosensitive layer only on the roughened area. CONSTITUTION:The surface of the cylindrical substrate 1 is roughened by excluding both side ends 4 in the areas smaller than the nonimage areas, thus permitting vibration, abrasion, and the like not to occur even when the photosensitive body is set in a copying machine and the ends of the substrate 1 contact with rolls and the collar rings in copying operation, and the photosensitive body irradiated with laser beams not to cause light interference because it is formed on the roughened area 2. |
