PURPOSE:To increase toe rigidity and reduce a vibration transmitted to a body by providing an upper arm and a lower arm, and a swing arm for connecting a wheel support member to a body, and so arranging the aforesaid members as to have the predetermined relationships. CONSTITUTION:A wheel carrier 21 in a rear suspension 20 has a spindle 21a so supporting a rear wheel 2 as to be freely rotatable. Also, an upper arm 22 and a lower arm 23 respectively connect the wheel carrier 21 to the body and so support the upper and lower ends of the wheel carrier 21 as to be capable of vertical oscillation. In addition, the aforesaid arms 22 and 23 are so mounted as to be capable of relative turn within a horizontal plane. Furthermore, a swing arm 24 similarly connects the body and the wheel carrier 21 to each other and one side end 24a thereof is connected to the predetermined position of th body, while each of other side ends 24b and 24c respectively connected to the wheel carrier 21 at two positions along the lengthwise direction of a vehicle. Also, the aforesaid one side end 24a is extended aslant inside a widthwise direction. |
