<p>PURPOSE:To aim at a small type at a small type and light weight by specifying the thickness of a permanent magnet, the cross section of a permanent magnet, the iron-core cross section of a winding and the iron-core cross section of a permanent magnet insertion section. CONSTITUTION:The thickness lM and the cross section SM of a permanent magnet, and the cross section SF of the winding of an iron core and the cross section SG of a permanent magnet insertion section are defined so that the following conditions hold: 0.6mm<lM<1.8mm, 2<SM<6, 1.5<SG/SF<4.5. By causing an exciting current flow through a primary coil, a magnetization force in a direction opposite to that of the magnetization force of a permanent magnet is generated, causing an iron core to magnetized to a magnetic flux density for maximum use in the forward direction. For an intersecting magnetic flux, if a primary current is shut out, two times an effective intersecting magnetic flux which can be used by a conventional ignition coil that is magnetized to the magnetic flux density for maximum use in the forward direction only by supplying electricity to the primary coil without including a permanent magnet can be used. This makes it possible to achieve a small and light-weight type.</p> |
