PURPOSE:To mass-produce interlocking tooth of high quality without forming burrs by preliminarily forming a recessed part as the bevel part is an engaging recessed part of an interlocking tooth at least one tooth away from the cut end surface of a blank material for forming interlocking teeth. CONSTITUTION:In the ending of the process wherein a blank material 34 for interlocking teeth is cut and transported to a formation position, the cut end 25 of a wire material 13 for forming interlocking teeth is formed by pressing with a die part 27 which consists of the end surface 18 of a cutting punch 7 and the sliding surface 22 of the main body part 21 of the cutting punch and is provided at distance corresponding to the thickness of one blank material 23 for interlocking teeth from a corner part. In the flank 16 of said wire material 13, the recessed part 29 is formed. Thus, the interlocking teeth of high quality are mass- produced without burrs, etc., in the cut end surface of the wire material and metallic powder, etc. |
