PURPOSE:To obtain a consumables service life managing device which is guaranteed the reliability of a count value by displaying the number of sheets of a form to which recording is executed by using consumables. CONSTITUTION:The title device is provided with a device main body 11 for installing consumables so as to be freely attachable and detachable, a counting means 12 for counting the number of sheets of a form to which recording is executed in a state that specific consumables are installed in the device main body 11, a mode setting means 13 for setting the device main body 11 to a display mode of the counter, and a count contents display means 14 for displaying the count contents of the counting means 12 in a state that the device main body 11 is set to the display mode of the counter. In this state, by a count display of the count contents display means 14, a management of a service life is executed. In such a way, a purchaser of the device can obtain an optimum device constitution by selecting consumables being the most suitable for a use state. |
