PURPOSE:To provide a packaging container high in operational efficiency, inexpensive to manufacture and high in content receiving capacity by forming a pair of packaging members of cushioning material and joining them together to receive insulators between their receiving recesses. CONSTITUTION:An upper and lower packaging member 1 and 2 are joined together with receiving recesses 6 and the recess and projection parts 15a and 15b on each inside thereof in their respective registrations. To package suspension-type insulators 13 with these two members, the three insulators 13 are joined together with a connecting pin 12 passing through cap metal fittings 10 and this 3-piece set of the insulators is placed into the receiving recesses 6 of the lower packaging member 2 with the cap metal fitting 10 of the insulator 13 received in a cap metal fitting receiving part 8, a cap 11 in an insulator receiving part 7, the connecting pin 12 in a connecting pin receiving part 14 and the lower half of the insulator 13 in the receiving recess 6. In doing so, the upper half thereof is exposed and, by placing the upper packaging member 1 on the lower packaging member 2, each insulator 13 is held between the receiving recesses 6 thereof. These two packaging members 1 and 2 are held together firmly by binding a tape around a tape passing groove 17. |
