PURPOSE:To make difficult the guess of authentication information by means of a thorough-checking test by disturbing a certification processing at a rate set beforehand in a device which authenticates inputted principal authentication information when it corresponds to the information in an encoded memory. CONSTITUTION:The authentication information is inputted from an input part 200 by the instruction of a control part 400, and transmitted to a comparing part 260. The comparing part reads the authentication information of a corresponding user from a memory part 220, sends it to an enciphering part 240, and enciphers it. At such a time, by the instruction of the control part, the disturbing information of the user is sent from a disturbing information memory part 440 to the disturbing information processing part 480. The information is indicated by the rate of disturbances per processing. The processing part 480 instructs the enciphering part 240 according to the designated disturbing information, and stirs the enciphering processing. Thus, the input of the correct certifying information becomes unsuccessful on a probability basis, and an ill-intentioned third party to check the information in a thorough-checking system cannot decide the number of times of the correct information inputs. |
