PURPOSE: To simplify a method and tool for immuno assay by an arrangement wherein an assay support has two wells in a sample receiving well section and the wells are arranged contiguously to each other while being separated by a dam means. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises a sample receiving well section 12, a connecting section 14 and a grip section 16. The section 12 comprises two receiving wells 18, 20 separated by a dam means 22. The section 12 is tapered toward the section 14 having a tubular part 28 for jointing the tapered part of section 12. The part 28 is contiguous to an indicating section 30. Stabilization legs 21 are provided on the projecting surface of welts 18, 20 in order to prevent the tool from turning at the time of settling horizontally on a flat surface. The section 30 is separated from the section 16 by means of a leveling protrusion 25 which cooperated with the legs 21 to set an assay support horizontally on a flat surface across the entire length of tool.
