Open ear protector for high sound frequencies

The ear protector, whose effect is limited to high sound frequencies in order to enable normal acoustic communication, is formed by means of a short, open channel-sound damper, which is set over the ear by means of a holding clip. It consists of a short, straight or curved tube which is provided on its inner side with a sound-absorbing layer. The tube cross-section can also be divided by means of further inner walls lined in a sound-absorbing manner.
