PURPOSE:To form an optical recording layer having a uniform thickness and less defects and to obtain the inexpensive optical recording medium having low noises by sticking a transparent optical having guide grooves opposite to the optical recording layer in such a manner that the guide grooves and the optical recording layer face each other and forming gap parts only in the guide groove parts on the opposite surfaces. CONSTITUTION:The optical recording layer 3 is formed on a film 4 and is so stuck to the substrate 1 by an adhesive layer 2 in such a manner that the gap parts 7 remain between the optical 1 and the guide grooves 6. The adhesive agent for sticking the film 4 formed with the recording layer 3 and the transparent substrate 1 provided with the guide grooves 6 is preferably a UV curing adhesive agent. The sticking is executed by a method of applying the adhesive agent on the guide groove forming surface of the substrate 1 and sticking the substrate and the recording layer. The adhesive agent is applied to about the extent at which the adhesive agent is not packed too much in the guide grooves 6 and is applied only to the upper parts of the guide grooves 6. The productivity is improved and the cost is reduced; further, the recording layer is formed on the surface such as guide groove having ruggedness to a uniform thickness. |
