The method for initialising a CPU after power failure comprises: a restarting address designating process for resetting the restarting address data, for driving a timer at power defect, and for resetting the address data; a retriggering process for resetting the timer when a certain time counting is terminated, for transmitting the restarting data, and for transmitting Retrigger Able Address to a detecting circuit for detecting the system down by resetting the designated address; and timer driving process for executing a main job after completing the retriggering process and for driving timer and jumping to the retriggering process for reexecuting when the main job is terminated.
