摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To produce a hot water supply apparatus at a low cost that is capable of preventing continuous run out of hot water in a hot water storage when a faucet is left open by mistake by detecting the residual volume of hot water in a hot water storage, setting a maximum volume of hot water to be delivered at a time corresponding the detected residual hot water volume, comparing the detected volume of delivered hot water for each time with the set maximum volume of hot water to be delivered, and stopping hot water supply according to a signal that is transmitted when the detected volume of delivered hot water exceeds the maximum volume of hot water to be delivered. CONSTITUTION:The residual volume of hot water in a hot water storage 4 is obtained from the temperature distribution in the hot water storage 4 that is input from hot water temperature detectors 34-38 to A/D conversion port 47F of a microcomputer 47 through a voltage converting circuit 49. A maximum volume of hot water to be delivered at a time corresponding to the residual volume of hot water is obtained from a table stored in a RAM 47, and set and stored in a RAM 47C. The hot water flow rate is detected by a hot water supply flow sensor 40, and a delivered hot water volume for every time of opening the faucet is derived and detected from the hot water flow rate and open-close signals from a faucet on-off switch 41 by using a timer 47D. When the delivered hot water volume exceeds the maximum volume of hot water to be delivered at a time corresponding to the residual hot water volume, an on-off valve 39 is automatically closed and, a driver circuit 50 controls so as to light a LED 51 on an turn a buzzer 52 on.</p>
