PURPOSE:To set a key automatically by setting key data corresponding to a specific chord when it is decided that all pieces of chord information representing plural specific chords predetermined by keys are stored in a chord information storage means. CONSTITUTION:When chords are set one after another by a keyboard 10 as a chord specifying means, the chord information storage means of a working memory 83 stores chord information representing a previously specified chord in response to the chord specification. Then when a decision means decides that all pieces of chord information representing the specific chords predetermined by the keys are stored in the chord storage means, a key data setting means sets key data representing the keys corresponding to the specific chords. Consequently, even if a player does not know the key of play music or is in process of playing, a key is determined automatically according to music logic based upon future tendency without any trouble. |
