The device consists of a magnetically inductive flow meter 20, of which the measuring tube 40 is introduced into the pipe 15, and a control element 17 which influences the flow of the product and which is operable by a drive unit 18 through a mechanically displaceable rod-like actuator 19. The rod-like actuator 19 extends axially through the measuring tube 14 of the magnetically inductive flow meter 20. This provides for a very compact construction, improves the accuracy of measurement and facilitates cleaning of the device as a whole.
