<p>PURPOSE:To enable the vibration system of a line to be regulated as not to correspond to the characteristic frequency of a building by providing a simple pendulum as a no friction type dynamic damper on the end of a presser bar connected to a main vibrating body and making the position of the dead-weight of the simple pendulum adjustable. CONSTITUTION:It is a device for preventing the vibration system of a line attached to a construction 8 such as a building, a structure or the like from resonating with the construction 8. A simple pendulum 2 as a no friction type dynamic damper is provided on the line 1 or the like as a main vibrating body through a presser bar 4. The position of the dead-weight of the simple pendulum 2 playing the role of a damper is adjustable. The simple pendulum 2 swings centering a damper attaching member 5, damper 7 and a shaft 6. As a result, the position of the dead-weight of the simple pendulum playing the role of the damper is adjusted so as to reduce the external force such as earthquake or the like given to the line.</p> |
