PURPOSE:To improve productivity of a fabric covering yarn by arranging a twist return device for returning twist of the fabric covering yarn produced in a knitting apparatus at the back flow side of the knitting apparatus arranged in a specific condition. CONSTITUTION:A needle cylindrical unit 2 is placed rotatably to a machine table 1 and a cam part engaging with engaging part of a knitting needle 3 is constructed from a cam groove of outer cylindrical unit 4 in stationary state. A twist return apparatus B at back side of the needle cylindrical unit 2 is rotated synchronizing with the needle cylindrical unit 2 and a bobbin D for plated yarn X and bobbin C for a knitting yarn Y are placed outside a knitting apparatus A. By the above-mentioned construction only needle cylindrical unit containing the knitting needle is rotated and the knitting yarn and plated yarn can be continuously fed. |
