PURPOSE:To press an ink lump without attaching ink to a pressure member and damaging adhesion to printing paper of the ink lump by composing a contact surface which is brought into contact with the printing section of at least the printing paper of the pressure member of a low agglutinative soft synthetic resin material. CONSTITUTION:Teflon forming a synthetic resin layer 74 consists of a soft synthetic resin having low agglutinative properties and low hardness. Printing paper 36 is printed by an ink injection head 15, and forwarded between a platen 10 and a pressure roller 70. Ink drops injected from the ink injection head 15 take the spherical shape of the diameter of approximately 30mum, are cooled at the same time as they adhere on printing paper 36 because of small heat capacity and are solidified instantaneously, and are changed into hemispherical ink lumps 79. The ink lumps 79 are pressed by the pressure roller 70 when they pass between the platen 10 and the pressure roller 70, and turned into flat ink lumps 79'. Since the contact surface of the pressure roller 70 is made up of Teflon, ink does not adhere on the pressure roller 70, and adhesion to printing paper 36 of the ink lumps 79 ' is maintained. |
