PURPOSE:To execute the exact detection of a mobile body position by transmitting the identification information of each radio zone, where each base station is provided, from each base station to a mobile body, receiving these information in the mobile body and detecting the position of the mobile body at every radio zone based on these received identification information. CONSTITUTION:When a position information sending request is given from a position information center 79 to a mobile station 71, the detected position information are transmitted from the mobile station 71 through a communication line 77 to the position information center 79. These transmitted information are received in a position information transmitter-receiver 81. Then, the numbers of a control zone, a cluster and the radio zone in a service area are collated with a registered radio zone table 83 and the existent radio zone of the mobile station 71 is determined. Next, this existent radio zone and the number of the mobile station are sent through a communication line 85 to a position information receiver 89 of a position information user 87 which executes the request. |
