PURPOSE: To provide water soluble nickel hydroxide paste of such a high fluidity as to be vibration-charged to an electrode frame of a porous or fiber structure by composing the paste to have a pH value of a specified range, and have a specified number of phosphorus atoms per molecule of polyphosphoric acid of water soluble salt. CONSTITUTION: In Ni(OH)2 paste having 30-50volume% Ni(OH)2 inclusion quantity, the maximum grain size of 0.04mm, a flowing limit of 10-120Pa, and including 0.5-5wt% dispersion medium comprising a group of water soluble salt of polyphosphoric acid in the Ni(OH)2 inclusion quantity, the paste has a pH value of 9-12, and polyphosphoric acid of water soluble salt includes 3-20, or especially 6-20 P-atoms per molecule. Water soluble Ni hydroxide paste of such a high fluidity as to be vibration-charged to an electrode frame of a porous or fiber structure can thus be formed. |
