<p>PURPOSE: To realize the low noise of a belt saw blade and correct operation to maintain high abrasion resistance, by at least partially isolating a continuous material connection part between the travel surface of a saw belt roller and a hub, by muffling and vibration damping material, viscous elastic material in particular. CONSTITUTION: A saw belt roller 1 is composed of an outer side ring 2 and an outer peripheral surface 3 adoped as the travel surface of a belt saw blade. A metallic securing part 6, between the hub 5 of the roller 1 and the travel surface 3, is isolated by a muffling material extending to the outer periphery, in particular a layer 7 composed of hard rubber or silicone and the others. The travel surface ring 2 is composed of abrasion resistant material, preferably iron or ceramic, etc., and the hub 5 and the securing part 6 are made of material or metallic material having abrasion resistance lower than that of the iron or ceramic.</p> |
