PURPOSE: To improve stability and hue for a light by incorporating a specific dye. CONSTITUTION: A dye of a yellow dye donor element for a thermal dye transfer containing dye dispersed in a polymer binder has structures reresented by formulae I, II, wherein R<1> is independently a hydrogen, R1 , R2 are each 1-10C substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group, 5-7C cycloalkyl or 6-10C aryl group, R<3> and R<4> are each independently R<1> or a hydrogen, R<5> is a hydrogen; a halogen; a cyano; 1-10C substituted or unsubstituted alkyl, alkylthio, alkylsulfonyl, alkylsulfinyl, alkoxycarbonyl-carbamoyl, or alkoxy; 6-10C substituted or unsubstituted arylthio, arylsulfonyl, arylsulfinyl, aryloxy or aryl group; 1-7C substituted or unsubstituted acylamide group: R<6> is a halogen; cyano; alkoxy group; or equal to R2 . Thus, the dye donor element is improved for stability for a light. |
