PURPOSE:To efficiently decide a result image and to improve processing efficiency by providing the title system with a change flag operating part for detecting coincidence/discrepancy between a center picture element value in a window and an output value from an output value table corresponding to a picture element pattern and recording the detected result in a change flag. CONSTITUTION:An input control part 4a scans a 3X3 window for original image data, enters data consisting of nine picture elements in the window and generates an address consisting of 9 bits to the output value table 4b. Simultaneously with said address generation, the center picture element value in the window is sent to the change flag operating part 4d. An output control part 4c transfers the output value from the table 4b to a picture element position in a result image areas corre sponding to the intra-window center picture element position of the original image in an image memory 3. The operating part 4d finds out exclusive OR between the center picture element value in the window and the output value from the table 4b, and outputs '0' when both the values are the same or '1' when both the values are different from each other from an exclusive OR circuit A and OR between the output of the circuit A and the value in the change flag is set up as a new change flag value. |
