PURPOSE:To eliminate a picture distortion such as a trapezoidal distortion or bend by providing a parallel circuit consisting of a diode whose cathode is provided between an emitter of a horizontal output transistor(TR) and a reference potential point in the polarity of the cathode connected toward the reference potential point and of a capacitor connected in parallel with the diode. CONSTITUTION:The fluctuation of the secondary side load current of a flyback transformer T1 is detected as a voltage change across a capacitor C1 of a parallel circuit during the blanking period. As a result, when the secondary side load current increases, a voltage across an S-shaped correction capacitor Cs is decreased and a current flowing to a horizontal deflection coil Ly is reduced. When the secondary side load current is increased, the high voltage applies to a picture tube is gradually reduced and the horizontal amplitude is going to increase, then the deflection coil current iy is reduced. Thus, the increase in the horizontal amplitude is suppressed and trapezoidal distortion or horizontal bent on the screen is eliminated. |
