The equipment is used for cooling reflection mirror which is capable of reflecting high capacity laser beam. A reflection mirror (6) and a porous material are installed within a holder. The porous material has a good thermal conductivity, allowing a cooling fluid to flow through. A hole (10) is formed at the opposite cross section against the refelction mirror so that it may be in accord with the center of a laser beam reflection part. A passageway (11) for supplying the cooling fluid to the hole and a passageway for discharging the fluid from the porous material are installed.
