The sensor for high speed distance sensing utilizing the image position which varies according to the distance of an object includes a decting module (2) comprising laser generaing circuits (12,13), and a lens system (9) for radiating the laser, a receiving lens (5) for receiving the diffused and deflected laser by/from the object, an ultra red filter (6) for providing the image on a charge coupled device (7), and a processing module (3) for calculating the distance of the object utilizing the time gap of the signal representing the position.
