PURPOSE:To prevent the degradation in power generation efficiency by using electrolytic manganese dioxide from which sulfate is eluted by allowing high- temp. pure water to pass therethrough as an adsorption filter medium. CONSTITUTION:The cooling water which passes the cooling pipe 2 in a reactor 1, a gas-liquid separator 3 and various pipings and contains the corrosion products of heavy metals generated therefrom is sent by a circulation pump 5 into a high-temp. adsorption column 7. The electrolytic manganese dioxide is housed in the high-temp. adsorption column 7 to efficiently adsorb the heavy metals in the high-temp. heat. The cooling water in the circulation system is partly taken out of a stop valve 10 and is cooled down to 40-60 deg.C; thereafter, the water is treated by a low-temp. cleaner 12 of an ion exchange resin, etc. This treated liquid is pressurized by a pump 24, is heated up by a heater 15 and is then returned to the gas-liquid separator 3. The corrosion of a tank, etc., is prevented in this way. |
